Active since 1997, is a cultural association which brings together women
from a variety of professions.
Our members are businesswomen, shopkeepers, craftswomen, women from the world of agriculture.
We work in the services sector, in the arts, in education and culture. We all pursue the same aims for
quality of life at
home and in our work.
From the Terra di Tara statute:
"... to promote the work and encourage the presence of women in all sectors of the economy, in particular in agriculture,
crafts, commerce, tourism, services, research and teaching, the development of human potential, communication...
to recognise the value of work and to promote equal opportunities...
to realise cultural, economic and promotional activities...
... to confer value to business activities but with attention to the development of the area, the landscape and the environment..."
